BMW enters the SUV market with the all new X5. It is a four-door AWD vehicle, and is powered by a 4.4L V-8 engine. The X5 will be available with a V-6 engine later this Model Year.

Major features include Dynamic Stability Control, 8-way power leather seats, and Hill Decent Control (HDC). HDC ensures a constant speed during steep declines and slippery slopes. Option features include the BMW Navigation System, a power moonroof, a heated steering wheel, and a premium audio system. The Activity Package and Sport Package are also available.

The Activity Package contains heated seats and rain-sensing wipers. The Sport Package comes with sport bucket seats, shadowline exterior trim, and 19-inch alloy wheels with special front and rear tires. This is a great SUV, but it is a little pricey.

Most luxury SUVs carry a lot of the same features and cost much less. But, if you are a true BMW fan - that this is a good solid introduction for the BMW into the SUV market.
