The SLK consists of a 2.0lt 136 hp normally aspirated
engine, a 2.0lt, 163hp compressed engine, a 2.3lt
193hp compressed engine and, for the first time,
a 3.2 V6 producing 225hp that provides some really
serious performance as 0-60 mph takes less than
6.5 seconds. The very interesting part about the
SLK is the roof of this car. SLK goes coupe-to-convertible
in just 25 seconds, storing the folded roof over
the shelf, leaving space for soft bags under. You
can do all of this with just a touch of a button.
As
for comfort and style, the 2001 Mercedes SLK 320’s
bucket seats felt like they wrapped right around
me like a race car seat. The SLK 320 is usually
adorned with charcoal leather and is finished off
with wood trim throughout. The telescoping steering
wheel and the center gearshift were covered with
a leather and wood combination that was very classy.
The SLK is a great car with some amazing features.
The SLK can transform to a very quiet and comfortable
convertible that you will love.
