Beretta appeals to younger buyers who enjoy the
fun of being behind the wheel and who want a sporty
appearance. Beretta combines today's styling, snappy
performance and handling with an affordable price
tag. It picks up from 0-60 in about 9 seconds and
it handles very well. It is a comfortable car that
appeals to a younger, male market. This is mainly
because it is affordable and it accelerates well.
The Chevy Beretta was a short lived production
model that didn't last long on the market. It was
available from 1987-1996. It was essentially a two
door coupe and also one of the safest cars on the
road. It belongs to the L-body series which also
included the Corsica. The reason the car was discontinued
is still a mystery.
Maybe it's L-body shape was too expensive
to maintain or perhaps it was simply replaced by
the Chevy Malibu Beretta convertables were planned
to release in 1990 but they never made it to the
dealerships. Posters and pictures were made but
that was all. This was truely a great sports coupe.
