The Acura CSX is an Acura badged version of the
Japanese 2006 Honda Civic that replaces the Acura
EL. It is essentially a luxury version of the Honda
Civic. It is only available in Canada. Like the
EL, it is built in Alliston, Ontario, Canada.
Notable
feature improvements over the Civic EX include
a standard 2.0 L DOHC i-VTEC engine rated at 155
hp @ 6000 rpm and 139 ft·lbf @ 4500 rpm,
paddle shifters option for automatic transmission
models, leather interior, heated front seats for
the Premium model, in-dash 6 CD changer on the
Premium model, interior illumination (ignition
lock, driver's power window and mirror switches,
steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls,
glove compartment, ambient), Civic Si-style steering
wheel with audio controls, optional navigation
system on the top of the line Premium, redesigned
front and rear end to match the JDM Civic, integrated
turn signals in power door mirrors, high-intensity
discharge headlights on Premium model.
