During Porsche's thirty year production of fifty
different model of 911's, none of their cars compares
to the 911 Carrera. The current release of the 911
Carrara has a 300 hp, 3.4 lt engine The transmission
is available in either a 6-speed manual or 5-speed
tiptronic S duel transmission. The first 911 studies
were conducted in 1956 and the car's backside hindered
production.
In 1964 the 911 was first available with
a 2.0L engine 1974 saw the implementation of safety
bumpers to meet the strict United States 5 mph impact
regulations. But it wasn't until 1984 when the newer
sleeker Carrara was introduced for the first time
ever, it's greatest achievement was it's 3.2 litre
engine.
